Sweet looking ZK-22 chassis. How'd you get your hands on one? Their website shows a 3.5-month backorder.

A friend of mine saw one for sale and thought I might like it so picked it up for me. He knew I was looking for a new 10/22 stock and my budget and this fitted the bill :)

Only noticed the logo on the charging handle today so filled that too. Just needs another couple cleans. Ordered some Magpul QD cups type 1 and type 2 to make it full ambi setup. While I was at it I ordered a Magpul MS3 QD sling in black, a Kidd single stage match trigger a Kidd bolt buffer and V-block. Just sourcing a tactical solutions .920 matt 16.5" bull barrel with AR thread and a Noveske KX3 fire breathing pig. Then I think that will do for this build . Forgot I also ordered a stack of BX 25 mags

Chris, i must say when you take on a gun project, you certainly don't mess around. That 10/22 project will turn out amazing, and all the builds and guns you've pictured look great. I like the fact that you only use high quality parts and upgrades for your weapons. It must be a huge advantage to work for agency you do, and help with your weapons know-how and skills.
That list of vintage bolt action miltary rifles is pretty impessive. I had a Geman KAR 98 8mm Mauser WW2 bolt action rifle, it even had the nazi insignias stamped on the barrel and reciever (Swastikas with wings). I sold it a couple of yrs ago to a gun collector, who made me an offer i could'nt pass up. But i do regret selling it; i took it out and fired 10 rds through it, and it was dead on accurate, and in amazing condition. Alas, it's gone now.

Cheers Automag,
I try my best. Some parts are harder to come by. I spoke to Paul over at Lantac and am getting one of the Lantac Dragon muzzle brakes as soon as the next lot are available in the UK. Got a few other Red Jacket bits on order to go with the gun (rifle case and range bag). Again been sent the dreaded there is a delay on parts email. Apparently 6 to 8 weeks on the Kidd trigger from rude fat dog. Unfortunately Tony doesn't post to the UK so needs to go via a Kidd approved importer. Trying to source one from another dealer at the moment. That's the snag with being in the UK is loads of big waits for parts. Still waiting for a Nordic components magazine tube for my Hatsan MPA at the moment and its been on order 9 months :( Once it arrives I'm going to have to spend some time on the lathe to make it fit. Will be worth it as the MPA is a good shotgun. Its just capacity limited at 7 shots and the factory spring follower and mag tube are pretty poor

These are some of the old Milsurp rifles I have. I also have a big box of different bayonets for various collectors rifles. Still looking for an arisaka type 99 with intact crysthanamum. Was helped by a US company Liberty tree collectors to get a muzzle cover for the K11. Great bunch of guys over there and it arrived in a couple of weeks

The wife shoots too, not so much since she got diagnosed but coming to the end of her treatment now. I wouldn't wish cancer on my worst enemy. Anyway this is her pride and joy NAA Mini cap and ball . not that accurate but she loves shooting it. Took me quite a while to track one down for her over hear

Chris, very nice collection of MilSurp rifles. They're in very good shape and condition; i've always been a fan of the .303 Britsh Enfields, very nice rifles. Getting your hands on a Japanese Arishka type 99 would be a great addition to your collection, especially if it had the long bayonet they came with, although it might be hard to find ammo for it over there. You would a lot of Countries Historical Military Rifles represented if you can find one.

Yeah i can see where it must be a pain to wait and wait some more, to get parts over there. Wish i had some advice on shortcuts to that problem, but i have little experience in Intnl. shipping policies, that must suck and be frustrating. Sweet little revolver you got for your wife.

My Prayers go out to you and your wife.

yes missed out on the Type 99 at an auction recently. keeping my eye out for the next one that's up for sale in the UK. Ammo may be a bind to get loaded stuff but my reloading collection is ever growing so I can always reload most calibres

Too bad you missed out on the Type 99, would've been a great addition to your collection. It must be nice to have all the reloading equipment and supplies to do home reloads for about anything. I'd imagine you could come up with some interesting shotgun loads if you wanted to: i don't know if you're setup for that too. How long until you get your 870, any news yet?

Still no confirmed date on the 870 :( as for shot shell reloading. I use to have a MEC 600 but it kept locking up so now I'm running a Lee loadall II. I just cast lee and lyman slugs and reload them
