New member in Arkansas

Post by RobAR »

Hello all. New guy here from Arkansas where the Bowie is the State Knife and the shotgun, the State Firearm. ;)

I just found this site about a month ago and have perused it almost daily. I look forward to trading info and ideas with you all.

I received my first 'real' firearm for my 10th b-day, in 1975. An 870 12 ga, vent-ribbed Wingmaster. I still have it.
She's been taken great care of and I cut her pressed checkering when I attended gunsmithing school in Tishamingo, OK.
She has two Express siblings, also!

Hope to talk to you soon!

An 870 was my first real firearm, too. But I was 13, and it was so front heavy that I held the exposed mag tube. You must have been a big boy to handle a 12ga 870 at 10yr old!

What part of Arkansas? I have family in Prairie County. I like it down there.
