ATI's plastic clamp has worked well for me. Won't scratch barrel or mag tube and you can really crank it down for no slippage. Fits my TacStar tube perfectly. I think they run about $10.

My experience with the plastic ATI clamp was not real positive, mostly because the thing had no grip and just wouldn't stay put. You could give it a try though, $10 (or whatever it is in your area) isn't much of a risk, and some stick-on or spray-on grip material could keep it from sliding around on you.

I was thinking of mentioning the CDM Gear line, but I figured that was out of your price range.

You can order just the clamp without the rail for $42.95 and you still have the built in sling mount. If you want to go cheap, for about $20 you can get the sheet metal style stamped clamps on eBay for about $15. A word of advice for any metal clamp, other than CDM Gear, is to get a set of CDM Gear poly pads for your clamp for about $3 plus shipping. They protect your finish and stop the clamp from moving around.

This is always a great choice for a Clamp. It's called a Magpul Forward Sling Point. It's not made for mounting lights, but has a forward sling mount. Bottom line it's a very good Clamp, and even comes with little silicone pads that fit between the clamp/mag and barrel. It does cost $30 bucks though.

I've seen some people use the WC extension in conjunction with the Clark Custom Guns barrel clamp with no reported issues. It also looks nice being low-profile and all. The problem is apparently that the clamp is designed for 11-87's and some people have reported that using it on an 870 w/a WC extension makes it squeeze the barrel and extension together too much.

I think the WC extensions are competitively priced, nice looking and a good overall value coming with a new follower, spring and integrated sling swivel. The reason why I stuck with OEM is because it includes a clamp and a groove to index it in place. Running an extension without a clamp puts it at risk of being sheared off if you accidentally hit the shotgun extension-first against something. It is secured only by the thin magazine tube wall.
