What is the exact length of the 9shot or +4 Choate Mag Ext?
Does anyone know the exact length of the Choate 9shot, or +4 Choate magazine extension for the Remington 870? Thanks.

Moved topic.
The Q&A page on Brownells gives an overall length of 10.25 and 10.5 inches, not very consistent, but not a huge variance either. I think the Choate extensions are single-piece, so that length would be added from the front face of the barrel guide ring. On a standard 870, that's 11.75" along the barrel, so if the information on Brownells is accurate the extension should end 22 - 22.25 inches from the breechface - possibly a hair further if you're sticking a sling plate or wave washer under it.
