Assuming that center extension is the Remington +2, why doesn't it have a stepped-down end for mounting a bayonet like the +3 does? I believe I remember your original +2 extensions being able to accept bayonets, so why not with the Gen II?

That ones is only 4.25 inch long and is for the Mossberg Mil spec M590A1 18.5 INCH

I thought that might be the case, but I wasn't sure since you show this picture on the page for the Gen II 870 +2 extension on your website.
