I'm retired (2010) Corporate Security supervisor and FFL Dealer/Gunsmith (1970s~80s). Reside 15 miles or so from Remington Arms in Ilion NY. 3 family members are employed by 'The Arms'. So owning Remington guns is as natural as breathing! I've also enjoyed working on them to fit my specific needs ... or just for the Fun. Unfortunately, I suffered a heart attack and a series of 'mild' strokes (2010 & 2012) that have had a continuing negative effect on my manual dexterity.
I do have some 2011 Pics of a earlier project: I built a Rem. 870 with AR/M4 collapsible Mesa Tactical Enidine Recoil Reducing 'Buffer Tube' / VLTOR E-MOD Stock. ATI Talon RAIL Forend on 2 shot extended mag tube fitted with SureFire M600 Scout Light (ST switch rail pressure switch). Cantilevered barrel with co-witnessed Aimshot 5mw Laser (with Magpul MIAD Grip mounted pressure switch) and Aimshot 1x sight. Receiver mounted 4 shot Side Saddle. Shotgun Technologies Sling-Slot Hand Stop.
The FUN Part of build was this is a 20 ga. gun and all the 12 ga. stuff needed to be adapted to 20 ga. specs. This took a bit of time ... but I'm retired so I have lots of that! I call this Nifty little (36.5" L.) 'The House' gun.
