Wilson combat +2 extension

Post by TexasArmor84 » Sun Feb 09, 2014 11:44 pm

Finally installed a Wilson Combat +2 extension quick detach sling stud. My thoughts on this product is that it is very well made all steel very tuff. The kit came with mag extension, spring, wave washer(which you will need if you do not have a detent ball) and a high viz lime green follower which I didn't install because I installed a Brownells SS follower. Also installed a Remington super cell butt pad fit was perfect and a ProMag Archangel 7 round shell holder. All said cycled dummy rounds and function is smooth and no FTF what's so ever. This project started off with a simple Remington 870 Home Defense 4+1 model and thanks to Rem870.com forum I was able to transform my 870. Also thanks to Vitaly for the site that made this happen now the field test is to come soon.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Looks good. I'll be interested in hearing how it performs.

What kind of sling? Something just for packing it through the woods, or some kind of "tactical-operator" setup?

Is the plate that has the sling mount on your Wilson mag extension mounted loosely? Does it rattle?

I'm looking for a +2 mag extension for another 870 project and like the Wilson Combat extension and their price. Just might have to order the one without the plate if it rattles.
