New guy from New York

Post by BlueStateSaint »

Hi, all. I won an 870 Express in a gun raffle last year, and I'm finally getting around to looking into 870-specific forums to post on, for a lot of reasons. I'm a 49-year-old man from the People's Republic of New York. Married with one little girl. I've also got an 1100 Magnum that I've had for 35 years. Come to think of it, I've got only one long gun that's not a Remington.

Wanted to say hi.

Welcome Saint.

Welcome to the forums. What 870 model did you win?

I won the 28" RemChoke-barreled version. I've got a 21" rifle-sighted RemChoke barrel for the 1100 Magnum, so I do have a couple of choke tubes around. I am looking to get an 18" barrel for the 870, for HD purposes.

And I would be remiss if I didn't thank Zebra and Vitaly for their welcomes.
