Innnnteresting. Care to tell me more about that? I'd love for mine to have more of a reddish brown finish. My P looks dull in comparison.

It is a feibings dark brown. Turns out redish but that's why I like it!!!

Wiped on some teak oil after. Easy really.

Here's a few better pictures of my polished blue 870P. The only mod is a hi-viz green follower from S&J and I sent the stock off to Bob Day http://www.americhoke.com and had him cut it for a 12.25" LOP and install a Pachmayr Decelerator pad. This will be the way this one sits, no more mods, nothing needed. :)

Here is mine after a few more upgrades. It is for HD within a small apartment. Also I don't take the bayonet seriously, and it normally isn't on.

Looks good, I wanted one of those bayonets to slip on the end of my M&P just for fun.

The only thing is your mounting rings, I would be concerned that it would interfere with your ability to combat load directly into the port. But then again I guess you can go under...

Yep, your gun is dull. I'll give you a dollar for it.

I've been thinking the same thing about how to make it almost more of a cherry look to it. I also like the blond wood but I don't think my walnut would get anywhere that light.
