Reminton 870 Express 12 gauge butt stock pad removal

Post by Sidney »

Anyone know how to remove the factory Remington butt stock plastic pad that is mounted on a 12 gauge Remington 870 Express made in 1996? there are no screws like the Wingmasters of the 1970s. Thank you in advance for help/replies.

He stated there aren't any screws so I'm guessing there aren't any screw holes either.

I’d like to see a photo of a stock 870 that’s doesn’t have access holes in the rubber butt pad. The pad has to come off to access the mounting bolt.

Please post pics of the butt pad that has not holes. The only thing I can think of is that some sort of after market slip on butt pad might be on there.
