Hello,
I was invited to a hunting trip, and I only have a Remington 870 with a bead sight. I plan to use rifled slugs, but the bead sight isn't adequate. Does anyone know how I can add a rear sight to work with the bead? The gun is drilled and tapped and has a top rail.
Any advice would be appreciated!

It don't work that way. If you want to add a rear sight you'll need to replace the bead sight with a raised front sight.
The bead is meant to be sighted looking straight down the barrel. Adding a rear sight will raise your eye, to get the bead to line up you will tilt the barrel up, so now the point of impact has been raised. Probably by a lot. You'll be shooting over the top of whatever you are hunting.
Easiest I think would be to get a dedicated slug barrel with rifle sights already installed.
