I own this gun and its a nice firing gun and looks really cool and the recoil isnt bad at all but the pistol grip makes it a bit awkward and uncomfortable for me..the barrl is a bit too long for my fancy as well but i do have a blast with it!

I only have two 870 WIngmasters.

I installed:
Mesa Tactical receiver plate
Speedfeed IV stock
Remington 18.5" barrel with a cylinder choke
Remington +2 magazine extension
Streamlight forend
and I modified the action slide tube with a brass sleeve.

Here is my new project. I purchased a previously owned, unfired 870 Police riot shotgun. Manufacture date of 1982.

Swapped the barrel with a like new 20", manufactured in 1979, added the longer magazine extension. New old stock. Bayonet adapter was then added.
