870 fore end question
870 fore end question
I bought a stock and fore end for my 60's 870. The fore end is considerably shorter than the wooden fore end. Also the slotted nut that holds the fore end onto the rails now sticks beyond the handle or fore end. Is this okay? Is there a better fore end?

870 fore end question
I'd say it's ok as long as it doesn't interfere with the function

Re: 870 fore end question
Not exactly sure what you're describing with your fore-end. Can you post some pictures? There are some special short fore-ends made for the 870 Special Field & MCS variants, which would be too short for a standard 870 fore-end tube assembly.
