Question about my new Choate forend; 20 gauge

Question about my new Choate forend; 20 gauge

Just received the $99 Choate AR style folding stock and forend from MidwayUSA and have a problem. I verified the package i received said 20 gauge but the forend seems like its for a 12 gauge. The stock forend fit the mag tube perfectly, but this new one has a lot of room between the two. Seems wrong to me but i just wanted to verify with someone with more experience than me that this is acceptable.

Disregard. After full assembly it fit perfectly.
