Hello everyone,

I’m new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself.

I’m from France and I’m happy to join this community. I’m interested in learning more about the Remington 870 and discovering the experiences and knowledge shared by other members here.

I’m still new to the platform, so I’ll probably be reading and learning quite a bit before asking too many questions.

What started your interest in shotguns and do you have an 870?

I've been curious about shotguns for a while, and the 870 is the one I keep seeing mentioned everywhere, which is how I ended up here. I don't own one (yet), I'm mainly here to read and learn. Any tips on where to start would be welcome.

You say you are new and seeking advice and education, yet you have made several posts in technical threads offering advice. You mentioned you are from France. Are you living there or are you in another country? If you are living in the United States, which State?

I understand your skepticism, and it is a valid question.

I am relatively new to this community, though I have been interested in technical topics for some time. When I take part in technical discussions, I share what I know or what I have learned through experience; however, that does not mean I consider myself an expert. Above all, I am here to learn, ask questions, and deepen my knowledge.

As for my location, I am originally from France and currently live there. I do not reside in the United States.

I hope this clarifies things. I would be happy to provide more details about my background if it would be helpful.

I don't know anything about the laws in France so I don't know how you would acquire an 870 in France. Are you familiar with them?

If I were to ask you "Where is Brian?" What would your response be and how would that relate to you?
