Earlier this year, I purchased an S&J Hardware bayonet lug in order to mount the M9 bayonet my siblings got me for my birthday on my 870. When I was researching it, I was unable to find any good reviews or sources of detailed information on the product.
I’m planning on producing an in-depth testing, review, and instructional video on them for the benefit of future potential customers.
I’ve contacted S&J Hardware with questions I had on some details, but I wanted to give y’all a chance to weigh in with questions you’d like answered, or to suggest talking points for the video.

It would be really interesting to see your bayonet lug video review!
I'm especially interested in installation and some tests. Maybe you can do something like this:

I'll be showing a complete installation and give relevant drawings and dimensions for the different Remington magazine extensions.
I'll be stabbing things in the test phase for sure; but I'll also determine how well the lug stays in place under recoil from various ammunition. I was thinking about seeing if those CDM pads would help keep the thing in place with the extra mass of an attached knife. I know you've used those Vitaly, can you give me a thickness measurement before I order them?
I may also try to work in some specific MIL-S-3443G tests and requirements, though I'll probably skip the more destructive tests.
All I own is an Ontario M9, but I wouldn't mind showing some other compatible knives, like an M7, OKC-3S, or that neat folding one from Kel-Tec. I'll likely make a pass of the military surplus stores in the area and see if they have anything they'd be willing to loan me.
