870 Express

Looking at an 870 Express with ext tube and bead sights.Are there any bad things to look for.

machining grooves in the barrel lug location right near the chamber. That area having small grooves is a major cause for guns locking up after firing. Quick dremel work solves it though. Theres other things to consider modifying but those are on every Express.

Check shotgun with dummy rounds if possible. That way, you will be sure that it functions properly.
