USMC Remington M870 MK 1

Did anyone see this at the Morphy Auction>

The attachment is mine. I found the barrel, mag extension and front piece at a gun show in southern Calif. About 35 years ago. I put it on an 870 Express receiver and used it to teach a Combat Shotgun Course while on active duty.

I didn't see that auction but original trenchguns do go for a pretty penny. Maybe I should say "Shinny Dollar"... Buttload of Bucks?

If you have an original bayonet mount, which I would guess it is, those are very rare and are worth a lot too. Congrats! :D

Thank you. These were not called Trench Guns, these are Combat Shotguns. Yes, the one that I built from Marine Corps parts has a bayonet lug. If you do not have one this is a great book: https://brucecanfield.com/products/comp ... t-shotguns
I was amazed at the sale price!
