Don’t try this at Home

Post by gWebber »

Some many years ago (80s), we were playing a roll playing board game that had to do with fighting vampires and werewolves and other assorted monsters

As the game’s time period was 1930s or so I came up with the idea of a Vampire Hunter Super Weapon ... which was to reload shotgun shells with a short stack of dimes (1930s dimes were silver 😃).

Turned out to be a very effective weapon (in the game anyway) for blasting any number of monster types as silver kills vampires, werewolves and shotgun slugs (silver or otherwise) kill pretty much everything 😂.

But don’t try this at home. Happy Halloween 🎃

I’ve wondered myself if it would actually work.
If taped it might act like a slug, unless the tape let go.
If loose I’d think they would tumble at some point and who knows what after that.

Well it turns out someone actually fired dimes out of a shotgun.
While I haven’t seen the video, I heard the person talk about it in a different video. Apparently at short ranges it’s pretty effective, at longer ranges the dimes tend to go everywhere and lose energy

Has anyone tried using a 15 mm? Socket as a slug Mold. Is it effective and a quicker way than doing one at a time if you pick up multiple sockets? Or is there a Mold that exists, that does more than one at a time. Aint got time for slow production.

If you use a press to bend a dome to them, they actually fry pretty straight and group well
