Scaring as f***. I cannot imagine seeing any around my compound.I may even relocate :lol:

Not a snake-whisperer since there aren't any in Alaska. What kind of snake is that?

Eastern Gartersnake, very, very common here in east tn.

Totally harmless. They will bite if you push the issue. Supposed to make good pets, if a snake can be a pet. When i first saw it i thought is was one of the dogs ropes they play with and almost picked it up. It struck at me and startled me.
