18.5 rib?

Hello, everyone. New to the forum here. Lots of great info has lead to me finally creating an account. However, there’s something I haven’t been able to find that I’m hoping someone here might be able to help with. Salient Arms International ’s custom 870 has an 18.5” vent rib barrel. Does anyone know of somewhere that might sell this as a stand alone barrel? If not, how hard would this be to have made? Anyone have experience with this? Thanks in advance for the help!

I am not aware of an 18.5” vent rib barrel being produced in 12ga. Most likely it was cut down (maybe someone out there can chime in?). There are 18.5” vent rib in 20ga yes but not 12. The most common shortest vent rib I’m aware of is 21” in 12ga.
This is my ‘new’ old field gun 21” in 12ga.

Thanks for the reply. Below is the link for the SAI model. Hoping there’s some way I can do something like this. I think it’s a great idea.

Its nice to see for over $2300 you get a stock sized safety and the stock PLASTIC follower lol.
That is a stock VR barrel that has been sent to Vang Comp to be cut down, ported, and/or back bored.

Right!? Like, it looks cool, but no way am I spending all that. I liked the barrel though so I’m hoping to get one like that on my current 870. Thanks for the info!
