1st trip to the range

Post by USMA-1982 »

Picked this one up off GB several months ago and finally had a chance to test fire it and sight it in for slugs. This is a 90-91 Wingmaster "Deer Magnum" (20 in smooth bore with rifle sights and Rem choke) that I reconfigured for HD. It now has the Hogue overmolded stock and forearm, a factory 3 shell mag extension for 7+1, and tritium sights. I'm not sure this gun was ever fired by previous owners - it was super clean and the action was a little tight compared to my Classic Trap that probably has close to 1000 shells through it. I have a spare 28in barrel so I can break this one in on the skeet range.

That rug really ties the room together.

And nice gun. I dig the glossy bluing on 870, but curiously prefer matte finishes on just about every other firearm.
