20' inch barrel question

20' inch barrel question? I have a 95' Express Magnum with a 20' in. Smoothbore Improved Cylinder Barrel. It doesn't take chokes. Does that sound right for the make and model of this particular gun?

Sounds typical for a smoothbore slug-hunting 870.

Was this possibly one of those DEER slaying 870's or maybe a COMBO gun?

I couldn't say for sure. If you email Remington with the serial number, they may be able to tell you what the gun started life as.
