New to the board but no to guns...
Hey guys,
I'm from the Los Angeles, CA area and I'm about to be a proud owner of a brand new 2012 870 25077. I'm pretty stoked and I can wait to shoot some clay at Burro Canyon. I'm also just curious to see how many 870 owners have checked out or own recently bought the 25077 since April of this year. The new one piece 6 round mag tube is kind of what I'm trying to wrap my head around. I noticed the mag tube and cap was just short of being flush with the barrel. So I'm trying to see what mag extension or end cap I can find to fill that distance to give that clean equal length look. I know some of you wonder why I'm worried about the aesthetics and not the function etc etc etc, but I feel like I don't need to worry about performance due to the background the 870 has, so I just want to upgrade minor things to give it my personal touch.

Hey Eyemakemoves86! Welcome to the forum!
We have discussed your shotgun on the forum some time ago and decided that it is even more reliable than 870 with extension.

Thanks for the input guys, I emailed Remington about my questions and they gave me the info right away. And greetings to you to fellow LA member, hopefully we'll shoot together sometime. I usually go to Burro Canyon. I'll post up the next event I go to.

Never been up to Burro Canyon but I've recently been meaning to try it. I need to shoot some slugs!
You mentioed you want to shoot some clays. Have you ever been to Triple B in South El Monte?

I never heard of Triple B but it seems close, I stay in the SGV. Where did you pick up your 870? I officially pick up mine in June from Ammo Bros.

If you're in SGV then you're really close to Triple B Clays (it's on Rosemaead Blvd. just south of the 60 Fwy. Classic old spot to shoot clays. It's been there since it was the Pachmayer range in the 1950's. I bought my 870 at Martin B. Redding in Culver City.
How is Ammo Bros., pretty good place to buy shotguns and supplies?

Ammo Bros has a lot of stuff, but the customer service fair. They go by the ticket system, so depending on the day, they can get to you fast or take for ever. I checked the Triple B website and it seem like a cool place but I'd rather pay 20 bucks for the whole day at Burro Canyon and 39 bucks for 270 clays at Ammo Bros. and have more fun haha.
