TRUGLO RED DOT HELP

I recently bought a TruGlo red dot, 8230rbn, for my turkey gun.

I currently have a weaver saddle mount on my gun, and the sight will not fit on the rail.

The instructions state that if the rail is smaller than 3/8", an adapter needs to be purchased.

Does anyone have suggestions to remedy this?

I am looking at something affordable, not looking to drop more than $40.

I have been looking at the TruGlo red dot riser adapter, and the 1/2" picatinny rail mount.

Any help would be appreciated.

Turkey season opens on 04/18, so I am trying to get this taken care of as quickly as I can.

From what I've read, the 8230s are all Weaver-mount. Have you checked your rail to see if it's in spec?
