Drop in Night Sight Replacement for XS Ghost sights 870?

Post by Harpua99 »

Looking for a simple drop in replacement for the factory xs ghost rail and barrel sight for the 870 tactical express 18.5 inch? doesn't seem to be easy info on this. I have no interest in drilling or tapping, just a simple swap for night sights.. Thanks, Cory

There is front Tritium sight from XS, you can find it on Brownells:

but I was unable to find night rear sight which would fit XS rail.

Yes that is the rail I would like to replace. I was hoping someone like Trijicon is smart enough to make a drop in replacement that will sit right where the holes from that XS are. As far as the front goes, Im looking for a sight that will push into the current sight post without anything more then pushing the old one out, push the new one in. Thanks for looking though, Cory

Trijicon (and others I believe, but Trijicon is the one that comes to mind at the moment) makes tritium front sights that fit the dovetailed front sight bases on Remington shotguns & rifles. Something like this might work with the rear rail/sight Vitaly mentioned, or the one you have currently, so long as the height is within the right range.
