Barrel removal 870 (pre 1968)

Here I was bragging about how clean and mint my Dad's 870 is and I can't get the barrel off. The cap came off the mag tube as advertised, but the barrel won't budge. I soaked it down with solvent/cleaner. Any ideas to loosen this barrel? Did I miss something? Thanks again guys.

Well as it turned out, the barrel was just tight. To be honest, that might have been the first time it has ever been taken off. The gunsmith was impressed with the condition of this 1965 870. Now I can install the extender.
