Hello from the Northwest Territories
For the past 15 years I have operated a bear safety (black, griz & polar) training business based out of Yellowknife. Prior to starting my business I worked as a wildlife officer in the NWT and Nunavut for 14 years. The deterrent and lethal weapon choice throughout this time has been the Remington 870 pump action shotgun.
Although I have used the 870 for almost 20 years I do not consider myself to be any more knowledgeable than the average hunter. I am joining this forum to gain access to people who know much more than I do about the 870 and firearms. I will share any knowledge that I have when appropriate and helpful to the the discussion.
I am looking forward to learning from all of you.

Welcome! I just joined here myself and it seems like a good place. Nice to see another Canuck (I'm from Ontario).
