Hello from Wisconsin

Post by Tony2KO »

Hey everyone,

Picked up an 870 a while ago and figured I would find a cool forum to check out and found this place.

Here is my 870 at the moment.
-Originally an 870 Tac Express w/ the door breacher choke
-Adjustable stock with pistol grip and 5 shell holder
-Wrap around rail system with 6 shell holder
-5 shot mag extension making it a 9+1
-Browning Blackout 9V 725L Light and mount
-Magpul AFG-2 grip on the picatinny front grip
-Single point sling
-Just some iron sights on right now

Welcome to the forum! Extension is very long, is it comfortable for you to maneuver with it?

Yeh, that's a really long extension. Makes me think, I wonder if there's such a thing as a side-by-side / double stack extension? Kinda radical, I know.

Yes the extension is kinda long, but it's still a pretty lightweight gun even with all the accessories up front. It still maneuvers fine and I love shooting my 870 more than any other gun.

The Xrail mag tubes are awesome, but then I would have to cut up the wrap around rail and do some other modifications. But having a 23+1 shotgun could be fun lol

I ask because I use Benelli Supernova with 28 inch barrel on practical shooting competitions (plus very long extension, capacity is 12+1). It was difficult to maneuver at the first, takes some time to get used to it:
