Remington Barrels

I've been researching, without much luck, as to whether it's possible to buy a Remington Super Mag SPS 20" barrel. The same barrel offered on their SPS Predator/Turkey model. I'd hate to buy the entire shotgun for just it's barrel, but I've done worse things with my money

The Remington site has a chart for original factory barrels but surprisingly, no 870 Super Mag barrels are listed. And though not listed in that barrel chart, Remington does offer a Super Mag 26" vent rib barrel in their online shop.

Brownells offers a Super Mag 23" vent rib barrel.

Those are the only two barrels I can find as a stand alone offering for the 870 Super Mag.

Anyone know if it's possible to buy just the barrel SPS 20" Barrel?

The original factory barrels table on Remington's website is a joke. Skip it and download Remington's parts price list instead. That's the only official resource I'm aware of that lists all 100+ factory 870 barrels. See this thread for information on the parts list, a download link, and a list of abbreviations.

I think the barrel you're looking for is part # F403419 - BBL 12/20 RC BS MOSSY OAK OBSESSION - $186.43. The chamber size isn't specifically called out in the description, but the old 2012 parts price list had it highlighted in green as a SuperMag part. Still, it'd probably be smart to call Remington and confirm that it has a 3.5" chamber.

There was one on ebay yesterday for around a 160 bucks brand new.
