Just got back from the range after sighting in my new 4 MOA Aimpoint T-1. The range guy set it up for me and WOW! What a piece of kit. I was very accurate and happy already with the XS ghost ring/bead sight setup on my Express Tactical 870. On which I upgraded the dovetail front sight to Tritium which you can get from XS if you phone them. I wouldn't get those glue on big dot sights. Just my preference. However the Aimpoint is just totally fantastic. Once you have it set up you can shoot from long or short range. Illumination is superb. Before fitting I played around with it looking from dark rooms out into the light and I believe the only problem you may ever encounter is if you were shooting polar bears out of an igloo on the very brightest day, so washout is not going to happen.
I AM NOT GETTING PAID FOR THIS!!!! But I got my Aimpoint with a quick release low mount from LaRue Tactical and these guys are mental! You get a box full of goodies with the Aimpoint gratis. What service, unbeliveable, and the LaRue mount is super well made. If you haven't got a red dot yet get one. This subject has probably been covered over a dozen times but all I can say is WOW!
