NuBee from North Carolina

Post by Trooperdan »

Hi guys, I'm not a shotgun kinda guy but I just bought a Texas prison surplus 870 Police Magnum model and I always want to learn more about the guns I own. This one is in pretty rough shape, rust in the chamber and on the bolt face! Can't stand that! The wood is very light in color and has no finish left, in short, not a real beauty!

As for me, I'm no beauty either! Old (71) retired army paratrooper and Dept of the Army civilian, military weapons collector, target shooter and packrat.

Cool find. It may not be a looker, but it's an 870. A little steel wool, a little oil, maybe a replacement spring or two, and it should run better than it did when it was new.

How about some pictures?
