Finally-lol. Good to see you going with a "complete" quality stock. I'm pretty sure you're gonna love it, i know i did mine. Good choice man! BTW, the pistol grip bolt comes inside the pistol grip storage area in a plastic baggie. Installation is pretty easy, just look it over real well before starting (it does'nt include instructions, but is still easy). If you have any probs, just PM me if you need any help.
Thats the same model i had, the AGR870 FKSB

one more question, the GL model comes with a cheek riser, does that same cheek riser fit on the ARG870?

No, but the GLR 16 stock that comes with your AGR870 FKSB does have the basic (actually exact same) same cheekriser for sale on Amazon for 20-26 bucks, if you want one, they are there. The GL Shock and the GLR 16 each have their own cheekriser. Also just for future reference, if you visit the Mako website, and go to mainpage and click shotguns, then click stocks, you will see many accessories. They sell the cheekrisers there too, as well as an optional pic rail mounted 5 shell ammo saddle for your stock. Just to let you know, nobody ever told me much about what Fab Defense offers and other important info, so i learned on my own. You'll really like your new stock, it shoots and handles great!

Alright, it finally came in and love the feel, buuuuuut I can't seem to make it work with the original bolt that held the factory stock, and didn't see another bolt included...what am I missing or am I just too stupid to figure this out?

Did you look inside the storage spaces built into the pistol grip and stock?

If you find it, check to make sure it's the proper length. I've heard that some of their packages come with mounting bolts that are too short. 870 stock bolts are a standard thread size, so you should be able to find a better fastener at a hardware store for next to nothing.

Yea I checked the compartment and nothing, you wouldn't have any idea how long it should be do you?

You'll want a 1/4-28 UNF screw, probably a socket head cap screw along with an appropriately-sized washer. Go for a steel fastener with a black-oxide finish over stainless steel; it'll be stronger, cheaper, and won't gall.

As for length, I'm not sure what you'll need, exactly. On the 870, the stock bolt threads into a stand-off called the receiver stud:

Ideally, a stock bolt should engage as much of the stud's internal threads as possible. The best thing to do would be to take your receiver and stock/pistol grip to the hardware store, and find the longest-length screw that will work. If that's not cool in your area just take your stock in, find a screw that extends 1/8" or so past the bearing surface that fits into the receiver, then buy that screw, one of the next longer size, and one shorter.

Just one question--Is this the folding model? I know you said it was the AGR870-FKSB, which is the folding model. If the answer to that is true, and the bolt is not in the pistol grip storage compartment, then you can easily call amazon and they'll probably overnight you the missing bolt and washer. Also, i know you checked, but the bolt comes in a plastic baggie that can get stuck up in the very top of pistol grip compartment, i know i had to check twice myself. You might want to check the rear storage area in the buttstock, if you havnt already.

If you arn't sure how to contact amazon by phone, just go to your account, look for help, click in that and look for "contact us", click on that, follow menu, and give them your phone # and they will call you back in about 1 second (immediate connection). Amazon is really good about getting you missing parts and products, if you say it is important, they will send it overnight usually.

The folding stock is the AGRF870-FKSB model. The AGR870-FKSB is the non-folding version.

Even if Amazon will handle parts replacement instead of redirecting things to Mako or FAB, these screws cost just cents at a hardware or fastener store. If the screw from the manufacturer is going to be short anyway (as I've read), it would still be best to buy and use something else that is the proper length.
