Spoke with Cody again the other day. My shotty is off getting the Ceracote done. They outsource Ceracote these days. Mine is being done in "Burnt Bronze", which I think will be pretty hip! I'll get a call when they get it back, assemble and function test. I'm hoping soon!

Wished I'd thought of a vent rib!

Not yet. Ugg. How are you liking yours now that you've had it for a while?

I got a call from Cody, and my 870P (my second) is paid for and in the mail. Cody even found a remington +2 mag tube for it. I had a Wilson tube on it, but really wanted the original remington tube...so, that's cool. It'll take a week or two to arrive which will match the 1 year anniversary of when they got it. I feel bad for my family because I'll be pacing the windows to see the brown truck pull up. :D

I'll definitely post a review once I get it and get to the range.

I'm beyond frustrated. Vang Comp has been storing my 870P for one year today. I finally got the call I wanted on 1 November that it was done and ship out that day and I would have a tracking number. Now it's the 22nd and Cody told me it hasn't shipped yet, per a phone conversation this morning. WTH! He did offer to expedite shipping (for a fee, of course). Heĺl, I'd just like to hear that made it to the UPS truck!
