I have heard that there is only one oversized button that will work on my 870 with the Blackhawk Knoxx 6 position Tactical stock. I want to get an oversized button but I need to know which one to get.

Mcmar, It is either the scattergun or the vang comp. I'm 90% sure it's the vang comp (which i also happen to use and like a lot, but NO RED!!! Gonna paint it soon )

Bit off topic, but you can also use red heat shrink tubing for the red. Seems to work well.

I used red electrical tape from Home Depot, it costs $4.

I don't know what you mean by scattergun or vamp comp. I believe that I read Wilson Combat had the only button that would fit the 870 with the Knoxx Tactical stock. I just would like someone to verify it so that I can purchase one.

I hav'nt replaced my safety yet, i'm about done upgrading so that will probably be my final upgrade. I've already decided on the Vang Comp, b/c of their good reputation, good reviews and price and look of it. I also like to buy parts like that from Brownells, and they carry Vang Comp products.
Wilson Combat is Sacattergun Technologies, they are one in the same; and it is the only one one that works with the Blackhawk Specops I and II Stocks.

Here's a video showing how to change a safety button. It's pretty simple.
