Good job! Like you said, the ammo is heavy, but bit useless without it! A handy pocket instead of the saddle perhaps... Bit with a comfy sling I wouldn't say too heavy unless she's petty slight build. How far will she be carrying it?

She is a patrol officer. Hell, she may never pull it out while on duty. Just to and from the car each shift and to go to the range to qual with it twice a year.
