Wrong again, <gong!> "Weapon" is an emotional laced term used to argue why you shouldn't have one. A baseball bat can also be termed a "deadly weapon" in that category as many have been used in homicides. A firearm is a tool, and it has many uses. I use mine for plinking, hunting, stress relief and a few other personal pastimes. Criminals may use it as a weapon, but I'm not and do not ever intend to be a criminal. Now the Dems may change that with the swipe of a pen, making all of us who own anything they don't like to be criminals, but that's another story.

I've yelled at mine, screamed at mine, left them loaded, left ammo near them...not a single one has ever done a foul deed other than collecting dust. The gun itself is incapable of doing anything deadly. Totally incapable.
Have you tried kicking it? (Just a joke)

Yup. Didn't work either. I'm convinced that none of my firearms are inherently evil. Most won't even talk to me.

OP, you are catching a little "warmth" because you seem comfortable with what you see as a minor but reasonable infraction of what some of us view as natural rights of free men. Would be easy to insult you sufficiently as to ensure this forum chases away people upon whom the chains of tyranny weigh more lightly than they do on some of us.

Consider sticking around anyhow. And maybe give some thought to the wicked and dangerous activities that are sanctioned and even encouraged by some factions our govt without a waiting period while you can't be trusted to conduct a transaction to buy a shotgun.

Sincerly,
Chilly

“ Most won't even talk to me.”

Shotgun’s typical Passive Aggressive behavior 😂
