Very nice, I've always thought nice hardwood on a nickle-finished gun is a really cool look, and with furniture so easy to change on an 870, I'm surprised I don't see folks doing builds like this more often.

That Blade-Tech holster is neat, too. I've seen some promotional stuff for them in the past, but never came across one for sale. Would be a nifty accessory for a TAC-14 or some other shorty 870.

You could always just install a Police or Wingmaster walnut set on any normal Marine Magnum. It's an 870, all that stuff interchanges.

Yes Synchronizer I could always change the furniture. I contacted a company that special ordered the parade/award model 81307 and said only 50 where made to this configuration from Remington.

Beautiful gun. Thank you for the pics.

I ordered a black Marine Magnum #25047 last week and would love to pick your and other guy's brains on a few upgrades.

When you say “black” you mean nickel plated with Black stock and forend?

As for upgrades. First shoot it and feel what you don’t like about it. Then decide if you want or need any changes.

Police marine magnum with a couple 'o accessories & upgrades

It needs a light on it first and foremost. That is the first upgrade coming.

It is the 25047 model.. Marine Magnum Black stock and forend. I live in Charleston, SC between two very large brackish rivers. Things rust here 10x faster than my home state of Georgia. That is the reason I wanted this version.

Own a Browning A5 I bought in 1988 and a Model 11 that my dad bought 75 years ago in 1943. My brother and I bought have the Model 11s. This 870 is for home protection, as the A5 and Model 11 arent really suited for that purpose.

Had someone recently attempt to rob my house during the day while I was home.

Maybe a surefire forend with built in light is the first place to start.
