Upgrades for Rifle Sights

Don't get me started on ol' J.D. at AI&P. He gives a$$hats a bad name.

I won't do business with that guy under any circumstances.

J.D. always seemed like a straight-shooting, no-BS type of guy to me, but whatever. That barrel is also listed on Remington's parts list, and Midway as well. I was just pointing out that there aren't any legal restrictions on non-NFA Police barrels, and GunBroker was the first place I thought to look.

My first rifle sights on an 870 barrel came off of my Mdl 700 short action back in the 80's. I silver soldered them onto the 870 barrel and must have gotten lucky as they shoot right on at 50 yds. and with carry over at 100 yds. As they are stock Remington rifle sights I'd have to assume that these replacement sights would work with measurement of the presently mounted sights...........................

I'm also not that into tritium rifle sights, but do like a tritium bead sight for close in work. I have white lights on most of my 870s and prefer that in most instances.
