Will the Mesa Tactical Sureshell 6 round fir a Police?

I have an 870 Marine Magnum with Police walnut furniture. Will the Mesa Tactical Sureshot 6 fit or is my only option is the 4 shot?

I'm almost positive the 6-round will fit; the Police walnut fore-end only overhangs about 1/4" of the receiver. That may be an issue with Mesa Tactical's 8-shell, but the 6 should be fine. My 6-round TacStar sidesaddle fits without a problem.

On the off chance there is interference, it'd be very easy to trim a fraction of an inch off the rear of the fore-end.

Just posted this image in another thread, figured I'd drop it in here too. This shows the Police fore-end with a TacStar 6-shell sidesaddle. Minimal overhang on the receiver, no interference with the sidesaddle.


Maybe someone who has a Mesa Tactical 6-shell sidesaddle can post the distance between the front of the sidesaddle and the front of the receiver so you can confirm that your fore-end won't hit it. But again, I don't think it will, and if it does, it's an easy fix.
