Does anyone know if the plated and non-plated parts are dimensionally the same?

From what I've read, nickel firearms plating is only a thousandth of an inch or two thick (sometimes less). Technically, this would change a part's dimensions, but not enough to cause any issues with the 870 design. As far as I'm aware, all Marine Magnum parts are fully interchangeable with the parts from a normal 12ga Magnum 870.

I just replaced my extractor, plunger and spring with the Marine ones. It took longer to open the box from Midway than it did to replace them. I had troubles shooting low brass shells with them not extracting. So, I figured if I try this simple "fix" and polish the barrel and chamber some, hopefully it will solve the issues when I'm shooting clays with low brass.
