S&J shell holder

Bought the S&J velcro shell holder, seems fine, the velcro stays on when I rip the holder off, but after sitting in the closet for awhile, the 'sticky' part fails, the whole thing just falls off. Anyone else have this problem? I put a few 'dots' of crazy glue around, stuck it back on. I'll see if that holds it, if not, time to look for another shell holder. I guess ya get what you pay for.

Did you degrease the receiver before you stuck the Velcro on? If the finish was still holding oil, it probably didn't help the tape adhere.

I use the same shell holder on my shotgun and it's been flawless for over a year, through lots of use. Don't give up on it too easily, give S&J a call and see what they'll do for you.
