Looking into this setup.

Do you have the ability to mount anything to the forend? I swear I saw one of their AFGs on one somewhere?

But how does it mount?

The AFG could be used if you mounted an MOE rail section to the underside of the forend. (The MOE line of attachments is what the elongated slots are for.) Their MOE stuff is pretty modular, so it could be done. However, having an AFG on one AR (my wife's,) I don't know that I would like it for a shotgun. It's mainly designed for the technique of having your hand further out on the handguard/rail with the thumb on top, for a specific control technique. I think it would make the forend a little too bulky/awkward for me. If you like a vertical grip on the forend, their MOE Vertical Grip is made for mounting to MOE handguards/forends.
