Hello,
I recently took my Remington 870 Express Tactical to the range and noticed an issue while loading shells. When I started loading, the carrier/lifter moved fully upward, causing the shells to get caught between the magazine tube and the barrel. The shotgun still cycles, but loading is now difficult and not smooth as it normally is.
Has anyone seen this before or have any idea what might be causing it?

Remington 870 Question

Re: Remington 870 Question
Is it that the shell does not come fully out of the magazine before the lifter starts? Pictures of the issue when the shell is "jammed" may help. Normally I'd remove the trigger/lifter system, give it a good clean and blow down and reinstall. Cycle the action a few times (don't be gentle or slow) and try with a snap-cap if you have one.
