The serial number on the receiver is V661959V.

Box says Packers No. 7702CB, Order No. 6960, Serial No. 661959V

Interestingly, the old box says "Brushmaster" but the gun's receiver is stamped "Wingmaster" Model 870. All other details, including serial number, on the old box matches.

Can someone help me determine if it was manufactured in 1981 or 2007? I know it is definitely not 1956 or 1933.

Its design is very similar to my 1982 Model 870 Wingmaster 26" 12-gauge barrel and my 1978 Model 870 Wingmaster 28" 20-gauge barrel.

Thanks!
The matching serial on the box and receiver confirms it’s the same gun. The CB60 barrel code is a repeating date code (so it can mean April 1981 or April 2007), which is why 1933/1956 are unlikely.
