Hello Everyone,
Shotgun noob here! I have just bought me my very first 870 Tactical Express. I have been reading up on tips and issues that an 870 might have and I’m keeping my fingers cross that everything goes well on my day out in the range and that I don’t get the ejector spring issues. Can anyone tell me if this is a typical occurrence on the 870 or is there a way for me to prevent this from happening? I’ll give an update on how my day in the rage goes with pics!

Carlo1137, welcome to the forum!
I know many owners of Remington 870 shotguns and only one had problem with ejector spring.

Howdy from central Texas.
I've lived in Texas for almost a decade, but originally I'm from Seattle, Washington. I got my Remington Express synthetic from Warshall's Sporting Goods [long gone...] in Seatown as a birthday present. I've gone dove hunting precisely once, but I have modified my Rem. 870 for defensive use. I've learned a lot as a "lurker" but I thought I'd introduce myself and post every now and then.

Certainly Washington still feels like "home." That said, I did spend some really miserable, rainy, gray autumns and winters there... Nothing quite like being in a torrential downpour t-storm in the middle of nowhere in Texas... But it is often drought conditions here in the "land of two summers," unlike the "evergreen state" I guess.
Anyhow, Carlo, enjoy your Rem. 870 and all of the training venues out there too!
Cheers,
DaveC
