Recommendation - Flashlight & Sight

I'm a neophyte and need some guidance from you all.

I have an older 870 Tactical Express 12ga with pistol grip. I installed a Mesa SureShell carrier with rail. I also purchase a Mesa Truckee forend so I could mount a MLOK flashlight. My question is what would be a good flashlight for the forend and also can you all recommend a sight that would be good for defense and mount on the SureShell cariier rail? I would appreciate any help, thank you.

For a flashlight to mount on the Mesa Truckee forend, I would recommend the Streamlight TLR-1 HL.

Regarding a sight, I think the Vortex Venom red dot would be an excellent choice for this application.

Consider using an angled M-LOK mount like the Arisaka Inline or Offset mount to get the light closer to the bore and reduce snag risk.

I’ve had good results with the SureFire Scout Pro on an M-LOK mount — very durable and easy to position. If you want a red dot, the Holosun 507C is a solid choice with long battery life and clear glass. Both should pair nicely with your Mesa setup.
