What sights?

Post by PRicanHeRo »

Looking for iron sights. I have a 21.5 inch barrel with a vented rib and receiver is predrilled. Came with a bead sight up front but am using the magnetic hi viz sight as my front. What are my options. Thx.

You are lucky to have predrilled receiver because now you have a lot of options:

SCATTERGUN TECHNOLOGY - REMINGTON TRAK-LOCK™ II GHOST RING SIGHTS: http://tinyurl.com/cbmqaee

VANG COMP SYSTEMS - REM. 870/1100/11-87 GHOST RING SIGHTS: http://tinyurl.com/a4yawkg

PSI - SHOTGUN HEAVY DUTY GHOST RING SIGHT: http://tinyurl.com/d8b9dcy

I'm squared away on the rear sight, thx, very nice options. I do love trijicon. A far as the front sight is concerned with the vented rib, can something be installed on top? Would it sit too high? Does a ghost ring sight in the rear and hi viz up front make sense? Kind of regretting the vented rib and don't even know its purpose.
Appreciate any insight, thank you.

I'm looking at Tru glo or Hi Viz. which one is better and why are they always associated with turkey hunting. My shotty is For fun, teach the family to shoot, and zombies.
I noticed theres some of metal construction, CNC machined (anybody know what that means), elevation and windage. Thoughts and opinions pls.

I'm assuming the PSI rear sight uses the stock Remington bead front sight?

i have a set of the tru glo or hiviz, cant remember and dont have the package, but i got them at dicks and yes it made it look like they were meant for turkey. i used them first time when i went dove hunting for the first time and did ok. i never zeroed the sights in and took a while to get used to leading the birds. i got two birds and fired 44 rounds. lol but i had fun. i havent used the shotgun with those sights since then but was able to quickly aquire targets. ill get out there soon and shoot some clays and try to remember to get back in here and report to you.
