just checking in, love 870's. couple of my latest.
first one is a 870 Police Magnum i picked up this week from the original purchaser. he bought it in 2001 (Have original sales receipt) to dispatch some four legged vermin on his property. exactly seven rounds fired through it, four slugs and three rounds of buckshot. never fired again. still in original box with all paperwork. disassembled it and gave all components a good extending soaking with CLR cleaner and lubricant. wiped it down, reassembled and oiled it up a bit more. looks brand new and action is smooth as glass. added the wood furniture.
after owning a Tac-14 wood when first introduced i loved the platform but hated the finish. thought about having it parkerized but ended up selling it instead of spending the money. plan B evolved, bought a virgin stripped parkerized Police magnum receiver and started collecting/buying parts to create my own Police Magnum Tac-14.
