I figure since I want infantry or recon that’s always in demand. I was taking to a national guard recruiter at a school event and he said infantry cav scout and pretty much any combats rms mos is always in demand also in the marines.

Infantry (of course) will always be in demand, but those aren't the highest ASVABs in the cookie jar. Are you positioning yourself for a career, or a tour?

Both. I want to see combat but I want to retire out if the military. I’ve considered doing 20-24 and getting out and becoming a game warden which is another career I want to Do in my life. That or do 10 or so years active then transfer to the guard/reserves and become a game warden.

It's good to have plans and goals, they help you stay the course.
